Auction Items

The Silent Auction is a benefit for Starkey, Inc. Founded in 1930, Starkey Inc., is the oldest community-based non-profit organization in Sedgwick County serving adults with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. It currently serves more than 400 individuals through its employment, community living and life enrichment and retirement programs. As part of its mission, Starkey helps these men and women to "live, learn, work and contribute to their communities."

Silent Auction Procedures
All proceeds from the silent auction benefit Starkey, Inc., so, bid
high and bid often!  Starting bids are set. Bids must be made
in $5 increments or in multiples of $5.  Winning bidders are
defined as the person whose bid number appears next to the
last valid bid when bidding closes at 3:00 p.m. Payment in full is
expected at the event. Payment will be accepted in the form of
cash, check, Visa & Mastercard. Checks can be written to
Starkey, Inc. Winning bid numbers will be posted near the auction
tables and items can be paid for and picked up starting at 3:30
p.m. High bidders who do not claim their items the day of the
event will receive a call from Starkey staff by Tuesday, Septem-
ber 23 to make payment and pick-up arrangements. Items not
claimed by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26 will be offered to
the next highest bidder.

Buy It Now Option
Bidders will have the opportunity to purchase auction items for
the listed BUY IT NOW PRICE until 2:45 p.m. Payment is due
immediately, no reserves allowed. Once payment is received,
Starkey will hold the item at the request of the winner.
